Terry George, CFP®, AAMS®, AWMA®, CLTC

Financial Advisor Terry George has a true passion for helping people grasp financial concepts and achieve their financial goals.  Terry joined Security Financial Management in 2018 following 14 years with an Ameriprise Financial practice.

Since first advising clients in 2004, Terry has acquired the designation of CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER™, along with designations for asset management and long-term care consultation.

Terry holds a master’s degree in Management (1998) and bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (1989). His diverse background combined with his knowledge of the Financial Services industry equips him to provide an elevated level of service to a diverse set of clients.

Terry has a long history of serving clients in Minnesota and is now also working in our Florida offices.  He and his wife Anita enjoy being active and staying energized. Terry previously worked at Mayo Clinic (research) and as a Program Evaluator for the County of Olmsted, Minnesota. He’s grateful for his experience in research and evaluation training as they undoubtedly developed his critical thinking and analytical approach to finding solutions for clients.

Terry holds Series 7, Series 66, and Life, Health licenses.
